EXPERIMENTAL♧
We design and create awards for mtb freestyle competition placed in Ostrava, a city of wrecks, full of industrial. The event took place in the old mining area of Dolní Vítikovice.
Rusted steel, chimneys, mining towers, furnaces gave us the answer to how our unconventional awards will look like.
Created in colaboration with Martin Saida.
We created a 2D panorama od od rusty area, which we cut into the 3D model at several angles. We placed the steel plates with an irregular offset and integrated LED lighting into the final product.
When you let all the sheets rust, everything merges with the genius loci of the pold area of Ostrava. Finally, we added contrasting stainless steel numbers and the plant logo of competition.
